Who we are:

For over three generations Salter Associates, Inc. has provided truss equipment, employment and consulting services to the engineered wood products industry. Our past experience as actual component manufacturers allow us to provide your company with the competitive edge that it deserves. From our Southeastern location; in Atlanta, Georgia, we operate throughout the United States and Canada.

What we do:

We buy, sell, broker and trade, ... new and used truss equipment for the Engineered Wood Truss Industry. We have field teams with vehicles, tools, labor and the knowledge to disassemble, rig, ship and reinstall the equipment from the Seller's location and reassemble the equipment at the Buyer's destination. We represent a majority of the brand name manufacturers of new truss equipment, as well as individual truss plants, that want to buy or have surplus equipment to sell. We supply qualified candidates and employment positions for the engineered wood products industry. We provide industry approved, on-site consulting evaluations for truss plant start-ups, expansions and turnaround operations. We evaluate and develop business plans for start-up and existing truss plants. We buy, sell and broker complete manufacturing plant packages; including land, buildings, equipment and assets.
